{"id":4246,"date":"2021-10-20T12:04:10","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T01:04:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tocact.org.au\/?p=4246"},"modified":"2023-07-19T18:17:01","modified_gmt":"2023-07-19T08:17:01","slug":"bird-houses-4th-aug-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tocact.org.au\/?p=4246","title":{"rendered":"Bird Houses &#8211; 4th Aug 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><center>Members have been busy making bird boxes for the <strong>Lions Croke Place Wetlands Landcare Group<\/strong> &#8211; part of <a href=\"https:\/\/ginninderralandcare.org.au\/\">the Ginninderra Catchment Group<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Ron introduced the teams making the bird boxes at the meeting.  All the makers enjoyed the opportunity to work with other club members in making the boxes.  When there were problems, or things did not turn out as they hoped, the common catch cry of all groups was&#8230;\u201dits only a bird box!!\u201d.  <\/p>\n<p>The teams were;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spotted Pardalote<\/li>\n<li>Crimson Rosella<\/li>\n<li>Eastern Rosella<\/li>\n<li>Kookaburra<\/li>\n<li>Nightjar<\/li>\n<li>Red-rumped Parrot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Congratulations and thanks to all who participated!<\/p>\n<p>The boxes were presented to Mick wearing his Landcare hat. She and her husband (another Mick) were pleased with the outcome and enjoyed seeing how Bunnings donations were making a valuable contribution to the community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nLindsay From COTA gave a short presentation on the Silver in Gold Expo.
