The Triton Owners'
Club (A.C.T.) Inc.
is a club for all owners of Triton woodworking products.

The Canberra Triton Owners' Club (A.C.T.) Inc was formed at the beginning of 1997 following a meeting in Queanbeyan in December 1996. See our current list of committee members.
Objectives of the Club
  • To provide education and training on the correct use and setting up of Triton products and other machinery used for working with wood.
  • To provide financial and practical support to certain organisations and charities as decided by the members and agreed to by the committee
  • To promote good fellowship among those interested in working with wood.
  • To promote and educate members in matters relating to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) as an ongoing requirement.
Some of our activities to date have included:
  • demonstrations of various Triton products: including the Series 2000 workcentre, the router, The Router stand and table as well as the Triton finger jointer and dust collection equipment.
  • demonstrations of various woodworking joints and how to make them on the Triton;
  • displays of a wide range of power tools, particularly those that fit the Triton;
  • informative talks and displays by local merchants;
  • the creation of a library of books, magazines, videos and selected router cutters for members to hire; and
  • regular raffles with great prizes.
Some pertinent details that you may care to note for your records are:
  • Club meetings are held at 7.00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month, except January.
  • The club meets at the Bruce Campus of the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) - see the map).
  • The membership year is from 1 Jul to 30 Jun and costs $30 per person ($18 per junior, $42 per family).
  • The club postal address is P.O. Box 494, Belconnen ACT 2616.

We'd love to welcome you to the club if you'd care to join us. We can well and truly guarantee that you'll get more than $30 worth of value and knowledge which will make your woodworking more enjoyable. A membership form can be found on this site and can be sent to our postal address with your cheque or brought to the next meeting. If you don't know anyone who is already in the club, bring the form to the next meeting and we'll happily sort out the proposer and seconder then. If you have any further questions about us you should consider contacting a committee member.
